Ocean Resources and Applications Laboratory

Publications

The Ocean Resources and Applications Laboratory is equipped with a deep ocean simulator that has pressure vessels capable of simulating deep-ocean conditions at depths of 600-1,000 meters. Located at Look Laboratory on the Honolulu waterfront, this facility is the site for international cooperative research on greenhouse gas sequestration, methane hydrates, and marine environmental technologies.
