Stack testing at the Hawaii Fuel Cell Testing Facility (HFCTF), employing our Hardware-in-Loop (HiL) system, will include tests of fuel cell stacks under both dynamic and static conditions. The capability inherent in the HiL system provides the opportunity to characterize a stack, to develop control strategies, and to evaluate system components with a high degree of flexibility and cost efficiency (i.e., using HiL testing with a real-time simulation of the PEMFC system under a load profile).
