A joint USDOE-DOD technical validation project to demonstrate the use of electrolyzer technology to simultaneously produce hydrogen for fuel and for grid management. Hydrogen produced at the Natural Energy Laboratory Hawaii Authority (NELHA) plant will be used to fuel fuel-cell-powered shuttle buses operated by the County of Hawaii Mass Transit Agency and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
