I. Preface

The Renewable Resources Research Laboratory (R3L) enjoys worldwide recognition as a center for research on alternate energy. This recognition continues to be earned through hard work and the setting of high standards. New members of the laboratory will be challenged by the opportunities it offers to perform world-class, inter-disciplinary research concerning renewable resources. This manual summarizes the standards and protocols of the laboratory, and provides guidance to new workers. Members of the laboratory are expected to embrace these rules and live by them as they conduct research in the laboratory.
