Severine Busquet (PhD, Energy Studies, Mines ParisTech, France), has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, with an emphasis in the areas of photovoltaics, hydrogen technology and fuel cells. During her PhD, Dr. Busquet studied the performance of a stand-alone power system coupling photovoltaic generator and hydrogen storage system made of an electrolyzer and a fuel cell. In 2005, she joined the faculty of the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and helped on different projects involving renewable energy generators and hydrogen storage systems. Since 2010, Dr. Busquet focuses on the performance evaluation of grid connected PV systems operating in Hawaii using highly instrumented outdoor PV test beds.
