We're always looking for bright, energetic, resourceful interns to help with our energy-related research and development projects. You'd have an opportunity to work alongside some top engineers and researchers in the field, while also broadening your classroom knowledge and professional skills.
The internship program at the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute is designed for students at the junior, senior and graduate level. Internships provide an opportunity for students to obtain to gain valuable experience and skills in their field of study; apply what theyve learned to further their careers; and explore a field of study to see if it fits into their career plans.
Internships are available year round and may be full-time or part-time. Internships are normally unpaid, however, depending on the nature of research activities, a financial stipend may be offered. Academic credits will not be awarded by the University of Hawaii. However, if you are from another educational institution, you may earn credits from your home institution. Please refer to your institution's curriculum requirements.
