OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2007-2009: Research Engineer at the Electrochemical Power Systems Laboratory of the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) leading the task on electric and hybrid vehicle data acquisition and the evaluation, analysis, modeling and simulation of lithium rechargeable batteries and fuel cells in the laboratory and in the field.
Leading scientist on several industrial projects with Enova, HCATT, the US airforce, Southwest research Institute and Expert Microsystems.
2005-2006: Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute (HNEI), working in the Electrochemical Power Systems Laboratory in collaboration with ENOVA and HCATT on electric and hybrid vehicle data acquisition and the evaluation, analysis, modeling and simulation of lithium rechargeable batteries and fuel cells in the laboratory and in the field.
2001-2004: PhD at the Nantes Institute of Materials in Solid State Chemistry laboratory on synthesis, characterization and optimization of positive electrode materials for lithium batteries applications.
2000: 3 months masters placement at the Science of ceramics processes and of surface treatment (SCPST) in Limoges, France.
2000: 4 months work placement at Dupont iTechnologies Microcircuit Materials at Raleigh, NC USA.
1998: 3 months work placement at the Shell Research and Technology Center at Louvain la Neuve, Belgium.
