Wilman joined Hawaii Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) in August 2018 as postdoctoral fellow. He received his PhD in Materials Engineering Science from Osaka University, Japan in 2013. Previously, he was a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and University of Zurich, Switzerland. He has extensive experience in solution-based processing of thin film chalcogenides for application in thin film solar cells and solar fuels. Currently he is performing research on printed chalcogenides for photovoltaic and PEC water splitting.
