Christian Castillo is a Biocarbon Test Specialist of Hawai‘i Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. He had worked as a graduate research assistant for HNEI, studying and applying thermochemical carbonization of biomass and waste. In 2024, he obtained his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and now continues his research in biocarbon conversion.
